Porto

Porto is a city located on the west bank of the River Douro in Portugal. It is one of the most important Portuguese commercial and cultural centres. It has a rich history, with its roots dating back to the Middle Ages. Porto has also been a center of trade and commerce for centuries, and has been transformed into a modern and traditional city in the same timeframe. Porto is home to a variety of interesting neighborhoods, including Ribeira, which is known for its narrow alleyways and picturesque population. One of the city's most popular attractions is its Port Wine Cellars.

Nazaré

As we continue our day of enjoyment on our Tour Fatima Batalha Nazare and Obidos, we will arrive in the fishing village of Nazare, which is the most charismatic fishing community in Portugal. Here, we can see the fish being dried on every beach in the sun as well as the renowned ladies of the seven skirts, the fishermen's wives who proudly wear seven skirts at once, a distinctive tradition of this area.

The greatest waves in the world can be found in Nazare, Portugal, owing to the Nazare Canyon phenomenon. In 2013, American surfer McNamara set the world record when surfing a wave that was nearly 30 meters high, and throughout the year, we may view these incredible waves for ourselves.

Obidos

The medieval village of Óbidos is a beautiful place. It's close to the capital, and it's located on a high mountain, near the ocean. People in the village used to be very busy because it was important for them to be close to the government and the other important places in the country.

The town of Óbidos was conquered from the Moors by the first king of Portugal, Afonso Henriques, in 1148. Later, D. Dinis donated it to his wife, Queen Santa Isabel. From then until 1883, the town of Óbidos and the surrounding land always belonged to the queens of Portugal.

Holy Week is a time of celebration in Óbidos, and there are several events that happen during this time. One of these events is the Holy Week Festivities, in which the steps of the Via Sacra are recreated. In October, there is the Ancient Music Festival, and in March, there is the International Chocolate Festival. This event has an international competition, in which recipes are evaluated by an international jury of specialists.

Lisbon

Lisbon is a city that inspires curiosity and a desire to explore all that may be found in every neighborhood and on every street. It's a little yet really interesting city that is secure and welcoming. It's a great area to stay for a few days or as a base for seeing the nation. It is aged. It is current. Without a doubt, it always comes as a surprise.

Cancellation Policy

All changes requested by a client after booking a tour require the previous acceptance by Auto T. Andrafer Lda. Although Auto T. Andrafer Lda will try to do the best to accept these suggested changes it always depend on the availability of guides and vehicles or any other aspects which Auto T. Andrafer Lda can not control. Auto T. Andrafer Lda is not obligated to accept these changes after the booking has been done.

Cancellations

Any cancellation request must be made by the client by email (mail@auta.pt) and acknowledged, also by email, by Auto T. Andrafer Lda.

The date on which the request to cancel is received by Auto T. Andrafer Lda will determine the refund due as follows:

· Payments are 100% refundable if cancellation occurs more than 8 days before the day of the tour.

· If the cancellation occurs less than 8 days before the tour, 50% of the payment will be kept as cancellation fee.

· If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the start of the tour, the client will have to pay the 100% fee of the booked services.

The above stated refundable amounts don’t include any non-recoverable upfront costs incurred by Auto T. Andrafer Lda on the client’s behalf and that the client will have to pay in the case of a cancellation.

In the case of a partial cancellation – if the client have booked more than one tour, for example -, the above stated refundable amounts will always apply to the cancelled tour.

Auto T. Andrafer Lda is not liable for any circumstances beyond its control, such as flight delays or cruise ship delays, for example.

Weather conditions are not considered a valid reason to cancel a tour, as all of our tours are done with sun, rain or wind.

Other special cancellation situations may be discussed to reach an agreement. This type of cancellations will always require the verification of the reasons to cancel.

Refunds will be done by stripe or PayPal or bank transfer and the client must pay all the fees that may apply.

In the unlikely event that Auto T. Andrafer Lda has to cancel the tour, the client may choose between a rescheduling of the tour or a full refund.

Auto T. Andrafer Lda is not responsible for any incidental expenses the client may have incurred with the tour.
